FINAL REFLECTION

In my first post I didn’t use expressions or connecters to make the text look like one united thing. Also I repeat myself a lot, using the same expressions one time and another. Now I changed, I think. In my compositions I use more vocabulary and expressions more complex, using phrasal verbs. Perhaps it is true that I have stuck on a single topic but those issues seem more interesting and easier to make. I have tried to solve these in last few months with new publications that have nothing to do with movies or series.

In my first oral presentation I was very nervous and I thought that making it with a friend would make it easier, I was wrong. I was so nervous that my hands were shaking, I can’t stop them I’m very shy to speak in front of a group more or less big of people. And the worst thing is that I did it pity, to vary, and the note of my colleague goes down because my fault.

The best presentation that I made in English is also the same one in Spanish, the one of the research project. Maybe it's because I spent a lot of time preparing both work and presentation. From my perspective I did pretty well, but the worst part is that I forgot to bring the presentation in English and I did it with the version in Spanish. And if I hadn’t perhaps the note would have been an eight but in the end was a five. I did not realize that I have a tic in presentations and is that I move feet very rare.

To summarize, I have improved my English is these last years but I think it is because I have seen movies and series in English for over four years and the effects are beginning to see now, a little late for my taste. It's been a inmemorables years but wouldn't repeat it for any amount of gold in the world.

TDR

Are the posters an art form, or maybe an adverting tool? Nowadays are the posters still useful? I answer this questions and more in my research project, studying the history of posters, learning the process of creation of a poster and their characteristics analyzing the work of a great artist Joan Brossa. And at the end, I made my own poster promoting the celebrations of la Candelera.

Clash of the titans: Mad Max vs The Revenant

I'm gonna do cooperation about the two coolest movies of the last year (I count the years of the movies based on the Oscars): Mad Max and the Revenant. (I'll leave part the explanation of the plot of the films and will assume that you've seen them)

Mad Max have lot of strong points. The costumes of the characters, cars, weapons and gadgets are amazing with an impressive level of detail. Music and special effects are also flipante, especially the part of the sandstorm and lightning. It also has some really cool moments, like when Nicholas Hoult (Nux) said "What a lovely day".

 In the other hand we have the Revenant, a movie that stands out for its landscapes and the incredible interpretation of Leonardo Dicaprio.

Although that the two films are amazing and the way that are recorded very different but equally impressive bow scared me Mad Max. Basically I think that The Revenant has like 25 or 30 minutes left over.

Leonardo Dicaprio

It finally happened. Leonardo Dicaprio won his first oscar. All eyes are on Dicapri during the presentation of the Oscars last week. Leonardo Dicaprio is one of the most talented actors of the moment. Since a young age he showed us his talent in Titanic and every year is exceeded, this time with his film The Revenant interpreting a man with a thirst for revenge for the death of his son. Dicaprio has been a source of ridicule and jokes for not getting an Oscar and this has produced an incredible number of memes (below I leave you a few). 

Even with all these jokes Leo has continued to pursue his oscar and end ho achieved. I think that is a model of determination and perseverance.

Ghostbusters 3

A few days ago it came to light the trailer of Ghostbusters. The plot of the film takes place 30 years after all happened in the last film of the franchise.  But with a big change, this time we will have four women instead of four men and, as the first movies, they are scientific (except one that works on the subway).

Not that excited about the idea of making films of franchises over 20 years ago considering the craps made above, a clear example? Robocop (2014). If the director (who controls) likes the series, if he puts love the result can be amazing because it would attract young people and those who already liked the earlier films.

Madame tussauds

It is the most incredible wax museum I've seen (because it is the first). I had long wanted to go to a wax museum but Madrid is a pelin... shabby. And there was also an exhibition of Star Wars, but paying more but we slipped and it was awesome.

An unforgettable place was the museum of science and technology, the technology was even more bland but pretty cool, I most incredible? They were free. If This we propose to do in Spain and you laugh in the face

What surprised me most was London culture change. For example in museums if you want a brochure there is the price next to they but you could get one without paying. it's more like a donation

Dialogue

One day in a waiting room on a surgery department, two clients are wating for their plastic surgery. To break the ice, one man said...

A: Hello, what do you want to change about your body ?
B: I don't like my chin, i just want to make it bigger and more attractive.
A: Oh, that's sounds great!
B: And you? What don't you like of your body?
A: I want to make my nose thiner, it's too wide and large.
B: My sister has made that surgery too, but it went wrong and it didn't end up very well and she looks worse now.
A: Oh, what a shame, I hope it doesn't happens to me.
B: My friends don't agree about doing this surgery, they say that my chin is already good now, but when I look myself at the mirror I just want to change it.

Presentation

Although in this presentation I have a 5, in my opinion and with my point of view it was the best presentation that I ever did.

I know that while the presentation I made some tics and some mistakes too but even those things I continue thinking that my presentation was quite good. The only reason because I had a 5 it’s that I forgot my presentation (well the USB) at home, luckily I still had the USB with the presentation of the TDR that was the week before, but with one objection, it was in Spanish.

Summarizing I made a presentation of my research project of the English class with the power point in Spanish.

The Force Awakens

Everyone knows Star Wars. It is one of the great franchises and since the first film has until now has created a huge community. And now the series is expanded with the start of a new trilogy and the promise of new films of the saga.

The film is set 30 years after the happened in the third installment (argumentatively) with new personages and others already known. At a time when the dark side seems to have regained power and plans to use the play of the Death Star (which did not go well the first two times).

The approach has given the production team reminiscent of the first trilogy and that is why, maybe, that the movie has been so successful.

THE DIVERGENT SERIES

THE Divergent is a type Hunger Games trilogy, some books movies are made. The theme is not bad, society is divided into different groups according to the skills and characteristics of the person, but this society is corrupted and different things happen a little murky and bundled Brown.

We can draw the line how good they are easily the three films, would suffice to throw a ball from a mountain. What I mean is that the first was "good", without going over, and the other two are already trash, literally.

I don’t know I fit is in accordance with the book, If not been in accordance with book, but if the book is the same, I wouldn’t touch even with a stick .

Ride Along 2

You know that phrase "The second parts were never good"? Well, Ride Along 2 is a clear example. The argument is practically the same as the first but this time is in Maiami. I have not noticed an evolution of the characters and compared to the first one was great, hilarious, this is more insipid.

It is surprising that you did not like me because Ken Jeong (The Hangover Chinese) appears, I love this actor, especially in its original version because laughter is very contagious and can not help but laugh. Even with the problems that has, continues to have great actors and remains a great movie and I recommend.

Deadpool

If you want to laugh and have a good time with a movie, Deadpool is what you want. It is normal to overcome the profits of other superheroes movies the first week, doubling some movies, because fans and Ryan Reynolds own way have sought to make the movie for more than 6 years.

The film is based on the Marvel comic Deadpool, and, I hear, is quite assimilated to the comic. What I like about the film is its constant humor and references to other movies taunting them and their stakeholders, including Chises to Ryan Reynolds (the main character). The advertising campaign is not far behind, being the best of a movie. All this makes it through the Deadpool ability to communicate with the public directly. He looks at the camera and speaks, breaking the fourth wall.

Obama vs Trump

Even though the American (USA) elections are in November the candidates have begun to do what they do better, make promises. I'm not good in politic, and with the American worst. But even though I know that Trump won't be a good president. I would like to criticise Trump only for his political, and not attack in what he is, a racist and despicable person who attacks the weakest, who speaks about the crisis but he didn't notice it, but I can’t. I only hope that most of the American people will be smart enough to do a good choice.

Some may be wondering because I care about the politics of another country. The reason is that it would not support the idea that an asshole of this calibre will place himself as president, something that has happened in my country.

The theme of the research paper is a difficult issue because we have to work this for two years, almost. You have to choose easy, any topic you like and make it interesting for other people. The different topics presented do not help much, each department offers different topics and you as a student must choose one or propose your own.

What is very difficult for me to choose a topic and do not know if I've chosen the right or have chosen one too hard and need to approve your pass and get the Batxillerat.

According to the test I am a logical person, I agree with this, work-working conservative types (not what exactly does and I can't find it) and I enjoy organization and regulation. These last two points don't define me precisely, I think it's exactly the opposite, I'm messy and not very consistent with the tasks and responsibilities. 

According to the test I'm dependable and thorough, sensible and earnest, too. I think these adjectives would be which would use to describe me, maybe I would not use  thoughtful, but more or less okay.
